FES in Thailand

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) opened its Thailand Office in 1970. Our work is based on freedom, solidarity and justice – the foundations of Social Democracy. Social Democracy creates the conditions under which all citizens can fully exercise their fundamental rights, participate fully and without impediments in society, and contribute to the development of their country. FES strives to secure equal opportunities for all citizens, both men and women, and the right to have a say in the affairs of their communities. Accordingly, in close and long-standing cooperation with local partners, FES in Thailand aims at facilitating inclusive dialogue and participation.
