The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Thailand Office gives greatest importance to protection of your personal data. It adheres strictly to the legal provisions governing the permissibility of handling of personal data - in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU GPDR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) - and has taken the necessary technical and organisational measures for data protection. Thai law applies accordingly.
The following notes are intended to give you an overview of how we ensure this protection, in particular what type of data we collect, process and use for what purposes and what rights are granted to you by law.

For the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung e.V., the competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
Automatically collected data
By default, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung collects and stores the following information that has been automatically transmitted to us via your browser when you access this website in its server log files:

As far as the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung engages service companies to provide technical support for computer-aided work processes, this is done in accordance with the regulations applicable to order data processing (Article 28 EU GPDR).

You have the rights to restriction of processing according to Article 18 of the GDPR, to data transferability acc. Article 20 of the EU GPDR and opposition to Article 21. Insofar as the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung uses your data for sending event announcements, publication offers or other information (direct mail), you may object to their use for these purposes; the data will then no longer be processed and used for these purposes (Article 21 (2), 3 DS-BER).
